Having worked in education for over 15 years, I bring a wealth of experience to the role of the independent clerk.  In an ever changing world of education, I pride myself on ensuring I offer a service to my schools which is professional and in line with the current legislation combined with a friendly and personal service.

Over the last 15 years, I have always worked for myself whilst initially combining this will a role in a private school and subsequently in a multi-academy trust which added to my knowledge and skill-set for the roles that a clerk can be involved with.  I have for the past few years worked entirely for myself running my own company of which I am extremely proud and enthusiastic and love the challenges that this brings.

I ensure I keep up to date with all the latest legislation from the DfE and my training has included:

• Training for Exclusions and IRPs (every two years plus update webinars)

• Complaints panel training

• Clerk's briefings

• ICSA Academy Governance

• Clerk's Accreditation

• RHS Horticulture Level 2 (just for when it all gets a bit stressful.......)
